The site is situated within half a mile from the centre of Crewe town centre, within a newly established residential area with nearbyretail facilities and works-based employment. Ameneties include a Morrisons supermarket, a cinema and Megabowl complex

Crewe mainline Railway Station is located around ten minutes walk form the site in an easterly direction, and the town centre is a five minute walk form the site in a north easterly Direction. Crewe train station provides excellent commuter journeys to surrounding towns and cities in the Midlands and North-West.

Crewe also offers excellent road links to the M6 via junctions 16 and 17 (Sandbach) and A-road links to Whitchurch, Chester, Winsford, Middlewich and Northwich. Furthermore, with regards to the M6 motorway, there are currently £2 billion proposals to expand the motorway on the outskirts of Middlewich. Three options are currently being considered for the 50-mile development between junctions 11a and 19 -widening the M6 through either adding extra lanes on each side or by constructing a new four-lane carriageway alongside the existing lanes, or creating an M6 Expressway.

Manchester International Airport lies 19 miles north east from the site, easily reached via the M6 and M56 motorway, whilst Liverpool John Lennon Airport is 24 miles away from the site.

At present there are advanced plans for the regeneration of Crewe town centre, improving the retail offer from its current dated 70's offering into a modern and attractive retail area, with a number of high street chains already committed.
