Close by to Mossley are towns and cities of all sizes. Manchester and Huddersfield are commutable by road and rail with both Mossley and Greenfield railway stations less than a mile away. Also nearby are the M60, M67, and M62 motorways.

Sheri commented: "It was important to us that the move was as straightforward as possible. We looked around the area and then by chance we drove past WhiteGates so we decided to take a look and it was everything we'd been hoping for."

An interior fitter by trade, Paul had turned his hand to renovating their previous four bedroom semi detached home in Oldham but now with four children this option didn't seem quite so appealing second time round. Paul added: "Sheri and I wanted somewhere that was a ready made home for us. I enjoyed the work I did on our old house but this time I want to make sure all my time in my home is spent with my family. WhiteGates has the high quality specification and contemporary finish that we would have chosen ourselves but without all the hard work - it's ideal."

Sheri added: "Part exchange has been hassle free. We haven't had to worry about selling our house; the weight has been taken off our shoulders which has given us more time to concentrate on moving our children to a local school. It felt like the right time to move but Paul and I were apprehensive. We thought we would have a lengthy buying process and we'd have loads of work to do on the house but is has literally been a breeze, I can't believe our luck."
