CARRINGTON PARK OPENS ITS DOORS TO PURCHASERS
- New showhomes launched as pre-sales soar -
Countryside Properties’ major new residential quarter for Warrington was launched this week (10 August) with the opening of three stunning showhomes to mark a brand new beginning for the former Carrington Wire/Rylands factory site and surrounding area off Battersby Lane, close the town centre.
Already 90 per cent of the first release of four bedroom townhouses and detached houses have been sold off-plan to early bird purchasers. Now with the opening of the new showhomes, Michaela Lancaster, Sales Director for Countryside Properties is confident that Carrington Park is destined to repeat the sales success the Warrington-based developer achieved at its two earlier developments in the town, Winwick Park, now one of Cheshire’s most desirable places to live, and Trinity Green, Warrington’s first urban village.
“Our new showhomes will allow would-be purchasers to see the style and quality we are committed to providing in every respect at Carrington Park. They can also see for themselves our masterplan to transform this site from an industrial area into a leafy parkland environment that they can enjoy to the full.
“The trio of showhomes have been interior designed by award-winning designer Kerry Tornetta. Her brief was to create interiors that would appeal to first time buyers, young professionals and growing families which were contemporary, yet in keeping with Carrington Park’s traditional architectural style.”
The largest of the three showhomes is a four bedroom detached townhouse on three levels. The ‘Chestnut’ offers generous family accommodation which includes kitchen/breakfast room, a family room, dining room, living room, dressing room, study, four bedrooms and bathroom facilities on each floor, together with a garage. For this, Kerry Tornetta selected an aubergine and green interior theme interspersed with cream throughout to create a rich yet fresh and modern feel.
The ‘Willow’ is a four bedroom semi-detached townhouse and has been dressed in a subtler combination of pastel blues and browns to project a contemporary, chic look. Again over three floors, this townhouse offers a kitchen/family room, a living room, dining room, three large bedrooms, plus a spare bedroom or study. There are bathrooms to each floor and a useful utility room at ground floor level. The Willow also includes a garage.
Last but not least comes ‘The Oak’ which has a bold, contemporary theme using red, pink and orange with stunning wallpaper effects and an eye catching oriental tree mural in the master bedroom. This four bedroom semi-detached house with garage features a large master bedroom and en-suite in the loft space and two other large bedrooms, a guest bedroom or study, as well as a sizeable living room and kitchen/dining room. There are bathroom facilities on each floor.
Concludes Michaela Lancaster: “When completed, Carrington Park will provide 388 new homes, a major new community. We have taken great care to set the standards and the style of what is to come through the design and construction of these showhomes and believe they will set a new benchmark for quality homes in Warrington.”
