We’d love to welcome you to our team

There are lots of reasons why our customers choose our homes. But why do people join and stay with Countryside? Simple: variety, support to develop and the room to excel.

Become people like us

If you’re committed, enthusiastic and professional, you’ll fit in at Countryside. You’ll be joining like-minded people who are always ready to take responsibility and move things forward. Working at Countryside is challenging, constantly changing and fast-paced. It’s also friendly, open and rewarding — that’s why our people love it.

Some description

Opportunities for all

We may be a house builder but we’re a business too. That means we need people with a wide range of skills: accountants, marketeers, lawyers, IT experts and many more. And we’re an equal opportunities employer in every way. When it comes to recruitment, we don’t discriminate. When it comes to helping our people develop, and recognising their achievements, we work hard to make that happen too.

Qualifications and professionalism

We’re firm believers that learning doesn’t end when you leave school, college or university. We promote professionalism by encouraging our people to achieve awards and accreditation from industry bodies such as RICS and NHBC.

Through our Study Support Programme, you can undertake a range of courses including bachelor’s and master’s degrees, as well as professional qualifications in areas including accounting, HR, architecture and surveying.

"Our people are our greatest asset. Looking after them and developing their skills helps them and the company in the longer term."

Graham Cherry, Chief Executive, New Homes & Communities, Countryside
