Little Hollows was secured through a conditional contract and planning permission was obtained following consultation with the local Newland Springs Residents Association as well as Chelmsford
City Council’s Planning, Design and Landscape Officers.
The development has been designed to reflect the rural setting of the site on the outskirts of Chelmsford, near the village of Chignal Smealy. All existing trees were retained and their setting enhanced. This landscape-led setting frames the sympathetically elevated homes which utilise traditional Essex materials such as weatherboarding and render. The site is delivering traditional family homes.
