Countryside has been named Private Developer of the Year at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards. The Brentwood-based housebuilder saw off tough competition from the other shortlisted finalists to be named winner at the event that took place at The Landmark Hotel in London on Friday 24th April hosted by TV presenter Nicki Chapman.

Countryside is named top developer for first-time buyers

The First Time Buyers Readers’ Awards celebrate quality and excellence in property that is designed specifically with the need of first time buyers in mind. By winning the award, Countryside has demonstrated innovation in the way it designs, builds and markets homes as well as offering a variety of services which can help the first time buyer get onto the property ladder. Countryside was also commended for its high standards of customer care and its after-sales service. The finalists were shortlisted by a panel of expert judges, from which readers of First Time Buyer magazine were able to cast their votes.

Andrew Loveday, Sales Director of Countryside comments: “It is great news that the readers of First Time Buyer magazine have chosen us as their top private developer. We work hard to ensure that we build schemes to suit the full range of buyers and lifestyles. We know that first time buyers want conveniently located homes with excellent amenities and it is a priority for us to create exactly that type of development. Through initiatives such as Help to Buy and the Bank of Mum and Dad, we are helping more first time buyers than ever realise their dream of owning their own home.”

Countryside is currently creating a range of new developments across London and the South East including homes that are perfectly suited for first time buyers. Kings Park in Harold Wood offers a selection of three and four bedroom townhouses, with a range of one and two bedroom apartments about to be released, all set in a beautiful parkland location close to the mainline railway station. In Chipping Barnet, North London, Countryside is creating Brook Valley Gardens, a modern interpretation of the traditional garden suburb. The scheme is bringing much needed regeneration to the Dollis Valley Estate, with high quality new 2 to 4 homes and a range of amenities, set in a sustainable and attractive environment.
