Local buyers have scooped 13 new family homes at the Warrington Road development since February, bringing the total number of homes sold to 67 out of 79.
Amongst the first to move into their new Stephenson Grove home was Colin and Carol Jones, who took advantage of the popular Help to Buy scheme to secure their three-bedroom house.
Colin, an area manager, commented: “We wanted a brand new home and Stephenson Grove is positioned exactly where we wanted to live - to say we were pleasantly surprised to find out what we could afford to buy is an understatement.
“We were instantly impressed with how spacious and well thought out the design and specification of the homes are for the price and we loved the added extras, especially the French doors that open up onto the garden. The Help to Buy scheme made it so much more affordable to buy our dream home and the support we received from Countryside made the whole process stress-free.”
The influx in popularity follows a redesign of the development to include more four-bedroom home designs, as a result of customer feedback.
Peter Vella, Regional Sales and Marketing Director, Countryside added: “We’ve seen a real increase in enquiries in the past couple of months at Stephenson Grove, particularly on the larger home designs that came as part of the site’s redesign last summer.
“This, combined with the Help to Buy scheme, has gone a long way in helping local families such as the Joneses not only step onto the property ladder, but also provide security for their families.”
Open Thursday to Monday, from 11am until 6pm, the Stephenson Grove sales office is located at Warrington Road, Rainhill, L35 9JD. For more information please visit www.stephensongrove.co.uk, call 0151 909 8089 or follow us on Twitter @StephensonGrove.
