Countryside Maritime Supports Chatham Food & Drink Festival

As well as browsing a tempting array of locally produced food and drink stalls, visitors to this year’s three-day long, free festival on St Mary’s Island, Chatham, will be able to watch local teams, as well as Countryside’s very own team, competing in the fun and furious Dragon Boat race. Festival goers can also enjoy a must-see line up of local bands playing blues, folk and jazz tunes, plus Kent DJs. The festival is an ideal event for all ages, you’ll find a range of activities for children will also be available, including arts and crafts.

Iain McPherson, Director of Countryside Maritime, who is delighted to be sponsoring the Food & Drink Festival once again this year, comments: “Countryside is a significant developer at St Mary’s Island. Sponsorship of the Food & Drink festival last year allowed our brand to be very publicly seen and positively associated with the life of the area. We are keen to support activities that demonstrate that St Mary’s Island is a vibrant place to live work and play. As our investment in St Mary’s Island continues we are very happy to continue our sponsorship.”
