Having only recently bought their current new-build Hyde property, Paula (44) and Stuart Selwood (40) made the decision to upscale into a new Countryside home as soon as plans for the Stockport Road scheme were announced.
Paula commented: “Gee Cross is one of the nicest areas in Hyde and, having grown up in the area, I knew that I wanted to live there. When we bought our previous home, we thought it was a shame that nothing had been done with the land near the Tameside College site, as it would make a perfect housing location… Shortly after moving in, the signs went up for Clarendon Place!”
The couple and their two daughters, Grace (13) and Cora (10), picked up the keys to their new five-bedroom home this week and are preparing for the big move.
“There are a number of wonderful house designs at Clarendon Place, but the Montgomery has some amazing and exclusive features. The main living area is extremely private as it’s located at the back of the house and leads into the garden – luckily for us, we have one of the largest gardens in the development.”
