Why not go all out and give people that Christmassy feeling as soon as they approach your home?
Santa Stop Here – Make sure Santa pays you a visit this year by making your own ‘Santa Stop Here’ sign with your little ones. You can be as creative and as colourful as you like! There’s no need to worry about weather proofing materials – if you don’t have any, a hand drawn / painted poster will do – just pop it up in the porch window or your front room.
Bauble Display – You can get baubles in all shapes and sizes. A quick and easy way to create a pretty display in your front garden and / or porch is to make a small hole through the top and bottom of a selection of baubles that descend in size. Feed either some string, thread or a very fine metal wire through all of the baubles. Make a knot at one end and a loop at the other. They are now ready to hang in your porch or on trees in your front garden!
Wreath – Having a wreath on your front door gives great impact and really gets everyone in the right mood as they enter your home! For a great way of decorating your front door this Christmas, take a look at our video on how to make your own Christmas wreath.
