Night owls will be spreading their wings to North Barnet after the 18th November, when the Northern Line Night Tube launches, putting Countryside’s Brook Valley Gardens development within easy reach of central London’s social scene.

New Homes for Night Owls at Brook Valley Gardens

The 24-hour services will operate along the Northern Line from Morden to High Barnet and Edgware, initially on Friday and Saturday nights, with trains running on average every 15 minutes.

Located just a mile from High Barnet tube station on the Northern Line, Brook Valley Gardens is a quintessential garden suburb reimagined and reinterpreted for the 21st century. Sitting on the edge of Greater London’s urban landscape where it meets with the borders of leafy Hertfordshire, the major regeneration project focuses on the principles of green open space, community, good design and healthy living.  Residents will be able to reach central London in under 40 minutes via the Northern Line, with King’s Cross St Pancras a mere 30 minutes away.

Andrew Loveday, Sales Director at Countryside comments: “Without doubt, the Night Tube will drive demand for properties in key locations such as High Barnet among young professionals who work and socialise in central London, but have been priced out of Zones 1 and 2. Buyers can now push out into more affordable areas in Zone 4 while still enjoying an easy journey home, whatever the time of day or night. As we saw with key Crossrail locations, increased demand for homes may place upwards pressure on prices, so now is the best time to buy.”

The latest release of homes, the Livingstone Apartments comprises a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, each benefiting from either a garden or a decked balcony. Contemporary in look and feel, the high specification apartments are ideal for first time buyers and young professionals seeking a feeling of space, just a short journey from the city.

Sleek-lined and packed with contemporary style, the kitchens of the Livingstone Apartments benefit from solid composite stone worktops and are fitted with a full range of A-rated energy efficient appliances. Chrome heated towel rails and accessories add a feeling of luxury to the stylish bathrooms, which feature white sanitaryware and porcelain tiles to the walls and floors.

At the leading edge of sustainable suburban development, Brook Valley Gardens is a landmark scheme for Barnet that will grow organically over seven years, bringing around 600 high quality new homes to the area. Community facilities include a community centre, nursery, children’s play areas and shared communal gardens, within a network of wide tree-lined avenues and green boulevards.

Barnet High Street is packed with local shops and cafes including a Waitrose and a bustling weekly market. A wide range of sports and leisure facilities are also nearby, as well as abundant open spaces, parks, nature reserves and woodlands.

One-bedroom apartments are priced from £425,000 and the last remaining three bedroom house, The Hadley is available from £640,000.  Selected properties are available to purchase through the Help to Buy scheme, enabling those without a large deposit to access the property market with a deposit of just 5%.
