The National House Building Council (NHBC) has recognised Countryside’s uncompromising approach to achieving the highest possible standard of house building, by awarding Mick Montgomery Countryside’s Senior Site Manager for St Luke’s Park in Runwell, with a Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award at the NHBC East Regional Finals.

‘Pride in the Job’ recognises the best site managers who help achieve the finest possible standards of house building and is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive. The awards have now run for more than three decades.  The Seal of Excellence awards are presented to the top 130 site managers, selected from the 430 Quality Award winners.   As a regional winner, Mick Montgomery will be entered into the Supreme Awards, which will be announced in January 2017.

The NHBC has also honoured Countryside’s Site Manager Thomas Moore with a Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award, as well as Dave Parry, Charlie Barbara and David Taylor with the Pride in the Job Quality Award for their outstanding quality of workmanship.   Heralded as one of the industry’s most prestigious awards, they will now be put forward for the NHBC Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Awards.

These significant awards from the NHBC recognise each of the Site Managers’ demonstration of excellent leadership, technical expertise and vigorous health and safety processes. For each of the site teams at St Luke’s Park, Runwell; Abode, Great Kneighton, Cambridge; The Hive, Warrington; Beaulieu, Chelmsford and St Paul’s Square, E3 these top industry accolades represent a huge success.

Speaking about his award win, Mick Montgomery commented: “I am delighted to receive a Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence Award. I’m sure this will give the whole team a massive boost, and for the more junior members, something to strive towards. It is fantastic, that everyone’s hard work and dedication towards St Luke’s Park has been recognised. St Luke’s Park is an excellent example of us succeeding in what we set out to achieve.”
