In partnership with the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), Countryside has launched an exciting new development neighbouring the football club at St Luke’s Park.
Keith Peckover, Vice-Chairman of Runwell Sports Football Club, formerly Runwell Hospital F.C., comments: “We are extremely grateful to Countryside for its kind sponsorship. This year we are celebrating our 70th birthday and the new kit will make it very special and memorable for those with an interest in the club, particularly the new under 15’s team.”
Officially the oldest section of Runwell Hospital Sports and Social Club, Runwell Hospital Football Club was formed in 1946 and has become an important part of the community for many members with a sporting passion. After substantial renovation work to the pitches and training areas in 2011, the club has continued to grow and expand with three new teams joining at the beginning of 2015.
As a part of the exciting regeneration of the former Runwell Hospital, Countryside is developing an exceptional collection of 575 homes, including one and two bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five bedroom houses, to suit a wide variety of buyers. Located within 200 acres of landscaped grounds, the development will feature tranquil woodland walkways, a sensory garden, a carefully refurbished Grade II listed chapel, proposed new primary school and a range of community facilities that will suit the needs of residents.
An excellent specification will feature throughout the homes, with contemporary fitted kitchens and a full range of energy efficient integrated appliances whilst the modern, hotel-style bathrooms feature sleek fixtures and fittings.
St Luke’s Park is ideally located approximately six miles from Basildon, 10 miles from Chelmsford and 12 miles from Southend-On-Sea, offering good shopping and leisure facilities. The development is situated in a key commuter spot with direct access to London Liverpool Street in approximately 40 minutes from nearby Wickford and Rayleigh train stations. It also benefits from excellent road connections with the development close to both the A130 and A127 which offer links to the A12, A13 and M25.
Three and four bedroom homes are now available at St Luke’s Park with prices starting from £380,000 for a three-bedroom home, £515,000 for a four-bedroom home and from £650,000 for a five-bedroom home. Two bedroom houses and apartments are due to be released later in the year. A selection of properties will be available to purchase with Help to Buy.
