More first-time buyers are stepping onto the property ladder than ever before, according to Halifax, with an estimated 154,000 purchasing their own homes in the first half of 2016; a 10% increase on 2015. The Government’s Help to Buy scheme* is making that dream of home ownership more accessible for many, with over 150,000 taking that first step since it launched in 2013.

Step On The Property Ladder with Help To Buy Available Now at Willow Grange

Those who are looking to fly the nest or leave the rental market can do so at award winning home builder Countryside’s latest development, Willow Grange in the charming village of Coxheath, Kent.

Overlooking the Weald of Kent, Willow Grange comprises a selection of 66 two, three and four bedroom stylish homes. Purchasers are offered the chance to buy their first home a stone’s throw from beautiful open green space, local amenities and excellent transport connections.

The Help to Buy scheme allows buyers to purchase with as little as a 5% deposit. The Government will then provide an equity loan of up to 20% of the property’s value, which is interest free for the first five years. Willow Grange is now offering three-bedroom homes, priced at £330,000 available with Help to Buy. In addition, with Countryside’s Bank of Mum and Dad scheme, family members who support their children’s home purchase will receive £2,000 as a thank you.

Andrew Loveday, Sales Director at Countryside comments: “Today home ownership is valued as a major landmark for personal and financial development. Countryside understands that it is affordability that’s crucial, especially among first-time buyers, for unlocking the door to their own home. We are offering several homes at Willow Grange with Help to Buy – providing first-timers the chance to buy more for their money, without compromising on style or location. We urge potential buyers to come and see the development for themselves before they are snapped up.”

The Roseate, a charming three bedroom home, offers a well thought out space for modern day buyers. Its’ open plan kitchen, dining and living room creates a fluid space which is great for entertaining. The home comes with individually designed, contemporary kitchens and an integrated fridge and freezer, white sanitaryware with chrome taps in the bathroom and flooring fitted throughout.

The quintessential village of Coxheath is ideally located in the heart of a thriving community with the popular high street offering a range of independent shops, a café, public house, library and a purpose-built village hall. While being surrounded by open spaces for sports and leisure, it also benefits from having surrounding towns on its doorstep including Maidstone, only four miles away and the other towns of Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are easily reached.

Commuters travelling into London are well served by Maidstone East and West Railway Stations located within three miles of the development offering high speed rail links into the city. East Farleigh Railway Station is also located nearby, providing direct access to Paddock Wood, Strood and Tonbridge all within 25 minutes. Coxheath also benefits from being under seven miles from the M20 giving excellent access to the national road network, linking to both London and the east coast of England.
