Earlier this year, we announced plans for a Community and Youth Centre at our Kingsmere development in Bicester – and last month, work started on site. To commemorate the start of the construction, local Conservative Member of Parliament for North Oxfordshire, Victoria Prentis was invited to lay the first brick for the Community Centre building. Designed to be a hub of activity for the local community, the Leader of Cherwell District Council, Cllr. Barry Wood and Chair of Policy, Cllr. Richard Mould were also invited to show their support for this exciting new project, which will provide space and activities for Kingsmere resident and the wider Bicester community.
Kingsmere has already established itself as a modern village, on the outskirts of Bicester, and the added benefit of a Community and Youth Centre will help bring residents together when it opens next Spring.
The Community Centre will form part of the new Village Centre, which has been planned to include a day nursery, convenience store, and four additional retail units, offering something for everybody.
Highlighting this assured sense of community at Kingsmere Victoria Prentis MP is highly-supportive of the new neighbourhood that is thriving: “Kingsmere has a strong community feel and I am keen to see this replicated across other local developments, particularly given the pace of house building across North Oxfordshire.”
Situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, Kingsmere is a vibrant community, with a great balance of green open space, and served by unbeatable transport connections. The development is home to a selection of house styles, ideal for a range of homebuyers.
Kingsmere is located in North Oxfordshire and hosts a range of homes suitable for any type of buyer. From two bedroom terraced homes, to three-storey town houses and executive detached houses, find out what Kingsmere could offer you.
