Recent research from Tesco Bank has revealed that 28% of house hunters decided to buy their new property on their first viewing, with the majority (78%) making the decision to buy their home in less than a week. With first impressions so important, Countryside has recently launched a new show home at its Aura development at Great Kneighton, in Cambridge showcasing the excellent design of the Rinaldi, an impressive three bedroom home ideally suited for modern living.
Aura makes up part of Countryside’s award winning Great Kneighton development and features a range of properties placed amongst tree-lined avenues and green open spaces. House-designs include one and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom penthouses, three and four-bedroom houses, and striking four-bedroom villas. The Rinaldi is an elegant three bedroom family home spread over three floors. Open-plan living has been central to the design, and large windows and a private terrace ensures that the entire home is filled with natural light.
David Everett, Managing Director of Countryside’s New Homes & Communities Central Region comments: “The new Rinaldi show home offers the ideal opportunity for those interested in Aura at Great Kneighton to come and see what a home here is like first hand. Specifically designed to allow house-hunters to envisage themselves living there, the Rinaldi perfectly complements the striking architecture of the wider development. We hope that potential purchasers will be inspired by this beautiful show home.”
The Rinaldi has been thoughtfully designed to easily support modern family life. The open-plan kitchen/dining area features double glass doors which open out onto the garden, ensuring that the entire space is filled with natural light. The spacious living room can be found on the first floor, along with the first of the three double bedrooms, which features an en suite shower room. The master suite is located on the top floor, and provides the ideal space to unwind, complete with a dressing room, bespoke fitted wardrobes, and an en suite bathroom. The adjoining private terrace fills the bedroom with lights and offers impressive views of its leafy surroundings.
All of the homes at Aura benefit from an excellent internal specification, with kitchens featuring composite stone worktops, white gloss handleless units and fully integrated appliances including dishwashers and washer dryers. Bathrooms and en suite shower rooms have white sanitary ware, chrome accessories and cream ceramic floor and wall tiles.
Residents of Aura are ideally located just moments away from excellent travel connections and a wide range of local amenities. The Great Kneighton master plan also includes an extensive range of new amenities such as schools, a health and community centre, shops, a library, offices, sports pitches and a 120-acre country park.
Located on Lime Avenue, off Long Road to the south of Cambridge city centre, Aura is ideally located for mainline rail links to London. The Cambridge Guided Bus stops just moments away offering regular services to the city, train station, Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Biomedical Campus. Frequent services from the Cambridge Station reach London King’s Cross in as little as 49 minutes, making Cambridge a popular choice with commuters. The development is also just a few minutes from the M11 for London, Stansted Airport and the nearby towns of Newmarket, Huntingdon and Norwich.
