Acton Gardens, already a Housing Design Award winning development in South Acton, is transforming the area with 2,500 new homes. The scheme is being delivered by a partnership between Countryside, L&Q and Ealing Council.
The redevelopment is being delivered across 11 phases, which began in 2011, and when complete in 2026 will provide 50% affordable and 25% family homes and new social and community facilities, such as the new Oaktree Community Centre, located in Central Square – the latest phase of new apartments to be released for sale.
The Ealing Civic Society Awards Scheme recognises work that benefits Ealing and the community – making the borough more attractive to live and work. They also aim to preserve the past but ensure that future buildings make its surroundings even better.
