Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance provide emergency helicopter medical aid to those who are sick or injured across parts of the south-east. Their specialist crews are able to provide on-scene care to patients and can airlift those affected to regional trauma centres, never more than 20 minutes away. The Air Ambulance relies entirely on charity donations in order to continue their vital work.
Set within the beautiful and historical grounds of Hever Castle, this venue provided the perfect backdrop for the ball. Throughout the evening, a range of fundraising activities took place, including a silent auction and a raffle. The live auction raised an impressive £28,800, with prizes generously donated by Countryside partners.
Iain McPherson, Managing Director of New Homes and Communities South, at Countryside, comments: “The Charity Ball was a great success, and we could not be more proud to donate the money raised to the important work which the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance does. We work directly in the region where the charity operates, so we know first-hand how vital their work is for the community. Everyone had a lovely evening, and enjoyed raising money for a good cause in such a beautiful venue.”
