Keeley explains: “Matthew and I had focused our search on older properties as we like the character that comes with them. However, after looking around the Gardino house-type we were really impressed. The Gardino has its own modern Scandinavian character and has some beautiful features inside.”


But the aesthetics of the house weren’t the only thing to cement Matthew and Keeley’s choice. Keeley continues: “Where we lived before, we were outside the catchment area for good state schools. We were therefore pleased to hear that a nursery, primary and secondary schools are being built on site, making Beaulieu a perfect place for us to start a family. We also liked the idea of being part of a friendly community and Beaulieu has proved to be just that. Our commute to London now takes around 80 minutes door-to-door, which is ideal. We are looking forward to the opening of the proposed train station at Beaulieu, will make our commute even easier!’”
