INDULGE IN FUN FAMILY DINNERS AT THE MOUNT

Despite the social and health benefits of eating together at a dining table, more and more people are shunning their dining room in favour of the living room, according to a new survey.[1] One in four of those surveyed admitted that they only use their dining room for special occasions, and one in five revealed that their dining room is used solely for storage. At The Mount, Countryside’s new homes development in Mill Hill, London NW7, the stylish townhouses boast an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and living room that occupies the whole of the first floor. This contemporary layout creates a bright, sociable space that places the dining table back at the heart of modern family life.

A brand new three-bedroom show home has been beautifully designed to showcase the impressive space to its full potential. With two sets of glass doors leading from the living area to the rear garden at one end, and a further two leading from the dining area to a spacious balcony at the other, the room is flooded with natural light, which is emphasised by the soft white and grey colour scheme. The central kitchen, with white gloss cabinets and matching island unit, cleverly maintains a sense of flow throughout the space, ensuring the dining table is an integral part of the home’s main family area.

David Everett, Managing Director of Countryside Annington comments: “Sitting down to eat together is such an important part of family life, with many proven benefits for our wellbeing, however the dining room can often be forgotten amidst the rush of daily life. The open-plan layout of these townhouses at The Mount is perfect, as it reintegrates the dining area into the home, ensuring that mealtimes will be seen as a fun social occasion to be enjoyed together.”

The Mount is situated in one of the most desirable areas of North London, within the popular Millbrook Park neighbourhood. The exquisitely designed collection of luxury three and four-bedroom townhouses enjoy an elevated position overlooking the city of London in one direction and lush Hertfordshire countryside in the other.

Laid out over four floors, the elegant townhouses feature light and airy open-plan living areas, generous master suites, an integrated garage and private outdoor spaces such as gardens, balconies and terraces. All of the townhouses boast an excellent specification including sleek kitchens with white gloss surfaces and fully integrated appliances, contemporary bathrooms and flooring included throughout. A range of energy saving and eco features such as photovoltaic panels and a heat recovery system make the homes as environmentally sustainable and economical, as they are luxurious.

The Mount boasts an enviable position, with a full range of high street shops and restaurants at Mill Hill Broadway, only two miles away. Brent Cross Shopping Centre is less than four miles away from The Mount and offers an extensive shopping experience. For travelling further afield, The Mount is also conveniently located for travel by car, close to the M1, M25, A1 and North Circular, while Luton Airport is just half an hour drive away.

Prices for the three and four-bedroom townhouses at The Mount start from £1,025,000. The marketing suite and show home are open 5 days a week, Thursday-Monday, between 10am and 5pm. For more information, please visit www.themount-millbrookpark.co.uk or call the sales team on 0208 3719 269.
