OVERVIEW OF BEAULIEU

Beaulieu is set to provide a vibrant new district on the north-eastern edge of Chelmsford.  When complete the development will provide 3,600 new homes along with an extensive range of community facilities including two proposed primary schools plus a secondary school.

The tone and ambience for the scheme has already been set by an earlier Countryside development – Beaulieu Park – which has become a popular and highly desirable place to live.  In each section of the new Beaulieu development a range of housing and architectural styles will be on offer over a number of developments, to suit different buyers and lifestyles.

By Rail
The development is approximately 3.6 miles from Chelmsford City Centre, which offers direct rail services to London Liverpool Street in approx. 35 mins and Ipswich in approx. 40 mins. What’s more, Beaulieu is set to benefit from its own mainline railway station on the East Anglian main line, which is due to be developed by Network Rail following a £22m investment from Beaulieu.

By Road
For those travelling by road, the A12 can be easily reached and a proposed new relief road connecting Essex Regiment Way through to Junction 19 of the A12 is set to make this even easier.

By Air
For domestic and international flights London Stansted Airport is under 21 miles away from the development.
