It is well known for Abbey Gardens, which is a ruined abbey right in the town centre, along with its beautiful adjoining gardens.

The A14 is the main road serving Bury St Edmunds, with junction 42 just 0.5 miles away. It runs from Birmingham to Felixstowe and connects the town to London (via the M11/A11).
For domestic and international flights London Stansted Airport is just over 45 miles away from the development.
There are a number of excellent schools within close proximity of Marham Park. Suffolk is in the process of moving to the more universally-recognized two-tier education system of primary and secondary schools, rather than having middle schools between primary and secondary.
